Tonybet review: the Virslīga sponsor with a €500 welcome bonus
Tonybet is one of the few Latvian-licensed sites that does casino, sportsbook and poker properly under one roof. The €500 welcome bonus is the joint-largest on the licensed market, but the 35x wagering means I would size it to my deposit rather than chase the maximum.

From a poker player's brand to the Latvian top flight
Tonybet was founded in 2009 by the Lithuanian poker player Antanas Guoga, and over the years the brand has moved its headquarters to Riga. In Latvia it trades through SIA Tonybet under licence numbers E-07 and TI-18. Most people still call that an IAUI licence, although since 1 April 2026 the IAUI has been merged into VID, the State Revenue Service, which now issues the licences and keeps the official list of permitted operators.
The part of the brand most Latvians will recognise is football. Tonybet is the title sponsor of the TonyBet Virslīga, the country's top league, and has sponsored the Latvian national team since May 2025. I don't read that as a reason to play there, but it is a reasonable signal: an operator that puts its name on the domestic league is not planning a quick exit from the market.
A local licence brings the practical things that matter: identity checks, terms written under Latvian law, and a regulator to go to if a payout dispute ever arises. If you want a second opinion with a fuller bonus table, the Tonybet review at latvijas-kazino.eu covers the operator from a slightly different angle.
€500 and 150 spins: what the 35x really costs
The welcome package is a 100% match up to €500 plus 150 free spins, available from the €10 minimum deposit. On headline value that puts Tonybet level with X3000 at the top of the Latvian-licensed market.
The headline is the easy part. The wagering requirement is 35x, and on a full €500 bonus that means €17,500 of bets before the bonus money can be withdrawn. The terms specify whether the 35x applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus; if it is the latter, the figure doubles, so read that line before you deposit.
Scaled down, the sums look more human. A €50 deposit brings a €50 bonus and €1,750 of turnover. A €100 deposit means €3,500. In my view the full €500 only makes sense for someone who already plays at volume; for most players, a bonus sized to a normal deposit is the one they can actually clear.
The usual small print applies: slots tend to count in full towards wagering while table and live games count for less or not at all, free spin winnings often have their own conditions, and there is a maximum bet rule while the bonus is active. Our guide to how wagering requirements work goes through these mechanics step by step.
2,500+ slots, 120+ live tables and a proper poker room
The casino lobby lists 2,500+ slots, 80+ table games, 120+ live dealer tables and 45+ jackpot games. Among the Latvian-licensed sites I cover, only Optibet lists more slots and more live tables; the rest of the licensed field sits clearly below Tonybet on both counts.
The live section is where the depth shows. With more than a hundred tables, you are not limited to one blackjack and one roulette stream; there is room for different limits and variants, plus the game-show formats that have become standard in live lobbies. The jackpot shelf is also one of the bigger ones on the local market.
Poker is the product that really separates Tonybet from most competitors, and it fits the founder's background. On the Latvian-licensed market only Optibet and OlyBet also offer poker, so if you want slots, live tables and a poker client under one login, the shortlist is very short.
The sportsbook behind the Virslīga name
The sportsbook is not a token add-on bolted to a casino. It sits alongside the casino and poker sections as a product in its own right, which makes Tonybet one of the more complete operators in Latvia for anyone who likes to switch between a match bet and a few rounds of slots.
Given the league sponsorship, domestic football is the natural angle for local bettors, and a brand that has its name on the Virslīga has every reason to treat Latvian fixtures seriously. For a pure punter, I would still compare odds across two or three licensed books before committing; for someone who bets now and then and spends the rest of the time in the casino, having both in one account is the real advantage. My only caveat is that the casino welcome bonus and any sports offer are separate things, each with its own rules, so read the terms of the one you actually want.
Deposits, verification and the six-hour payout
As a Latvian-licensed operator, Tonybet works with the payment methods local players actually use: Trustly, bank link payments from Swedbank, SEB, Citadele and Luminor, Visa and Mastercard cards, and e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller. The minimum deposit is €10.
The stated withdrawal time via Trustly is under 6 hours. That is quick, and among the licensed sites only X3000 quotes faster. Bear in mind that the figure is quoted for Trustly; other methods can take longer, and the first withdrawal is only processed once your account is verified. Uploading your ID and confirming your details early is the simplest way to avoid a delay at the moment you actually want your money.
If payout speed is your main criterion, our ranking of the fastest withdrawing casinos puts Tonybet in context with the rest of the market.
Tonybet on your phone
Tonybet has an iOS app, which is more than several Latvian competitors can say. The site itself also runs in a mobile browser, so the casino, sportsbook and cashier are reachable whatever phone you use.
For a brand that leans on live sport, mobile matters more than usual: in-play bets are placed on a phone, not on a laptop. In my view the combination of an app and a full mobile site is exactly what a sports-and-casino operator should offer, and Tonybet ticks that box.
How Tonybet stacks up against Optibet, X3000 and 11.lv
The closest rival is Optibet, our second-ranked casino. It also does casino, sportsbook and poker, has slightly more slots and live tables, and its 35x on a €300 bonus is a lighter load than Tonybet's €500. Tonybet answers with the bigger headline bonus and more free spins.
At the top of our list sits X3000, which matches the €500 bonus, adds 200 free spins and quotes withdrawals under 4 hours. Read our X3000 review if pure casino value is what you are after; Tonybet's case against it is poker and a much larger live and slot lobby.
Then there is 11.lv, another Riga brand with a €400 bonus at the same 35x and its own video section. Our 11.lv casino review covers it in full; I would choose Tonybet over it for the game count and the poker room.
Pros
- €500 + 150 free spins, joint-largest bonus on the licensed market
- 2,500+ slots and 120+ live tables
- Casino, sportsbook and poker under one roof
- Trustly withdrawals stated at under 6 hours
- iOS app plus a full mobile site
Cons
- Clearing the full €500 bonus means €17,500 of turnover
- Optibet edges it on slots and live tables
- The 6-hour payout figure applies to Trustly, not every method
My verdict
Tonybet gets 9.0/10 from me. It is a serious, locally licensed operator with a real sportsbook, a poker room that only two other Latvian sites can match, and a casino lobby that is second only to Optibet in size. Trustly payouts under six hours round off a very solid package.
The weak point is the bonus maths: €500 at 35x is a big turnover target, and I would not chase the maximum unless I was already playing at that level. Size the deposit sensibly and Tonybet is one of the best all-rounders in Latvia, and a natural first pick for anyone who wants football betting and casino in the same account.
