Lex Casino Review: The Casino-Only Pick of the Galaktika Family
Lex is the sibling that drops football and pours everything into the casino lobby, and that focus is why I rate it highest of Galaktika's four brands. The bonus is identical to its sisters'; the reasons to choose it are not.

Why Lex edges out its three sisters
Lex Casino launched in 2024 and belongs to Galaktika N.V., the Curaçao operator that also runs Monro, Drip and 1GO. All four share the same welcome offer, the same 5,000+ slot library and the same payment set-up, so on paper they are interchangeable. They are not, quite.
Lex is the only one of the four without a full sportsbook. Instead of trying to be a bookmaker as well, it concentrates on slots, table games and live dealers, and adds esports and virtual betting on the side. For a player who never bets on football, that makes the site cleaner and the choice simpler. It is the main reason I score Lex 8.6 out of 10, ahead of Drip on 8.4 and Monro and 1GO on 8.2.
If you want the full term-by-term detail on top of my view, there is a thorough Lex Casino review at latvijas-kazino.eu that is worth reading alongside this one.
A Curaçao licence, the VID block list and what follows
Lex is licensed in Curaçao and holds no Latvian licence. In Latvia that licence is still commonly called the IAUI licence, although since April 2026 the inspectorate has been merged into VID, which now issues licences and keeps both the licensed list and the blocked list. Lex's domains are on that blocked list, which is why its address changes through mirror domains, and in a payout dispute there is no Latvian regulator to turn to.
That is the full legal picture, and it is the same for all four Galaktika brands. If you want to see how this compares with the licensed market, our guide to casino licences in Latvia sets out how the VID system works.
In everyday terms the block list touches you mainly through the address: a bookmark that worked last month may not work this month, and the safest way to reach the current site is through the operator's own channels rather than search results that can lead to copycat pages.
The welcome offer in four lines of arithmetic
The offer is a 150% match up to €600 plus 400 free spins, with 45x wagering. Here is what that means in euros:
- Minimum deposit, €20: you get a €30 bonus, which at 45x needs €1,350 of play.
- A €100 deposit: €150 bonus, €6,750 of play.
- A €400 deposit: the full €600 bonus and €1,000 on the balance.
- Clearing the full €600: €27,000 of turnover.
Those figures assume the 45x applies to the bonus alone; the terms specify whether it is bonus-only or deposit plus bonus, and the second version is considerably tougher. Compare that with Laimz, the licensed bingo-and-casino site, which offers €400 at 30x: €12,000 of turnover for the full amount, less than half of Lex's requirement.
My reading is that the 400 free spins are the genuinely useful part for most players, while the €600 match suits only heavy slot players. Whatever you take, check the max bet rule and which games contribute, both explained in our guide to casino bonus terms.
Inside the lobby: where Lex earns its score
Slots
5,000+ slots is the headline, and it is roughly two to three times what a typical Latvian-licensed casino lists. If you chase new releases or niche providers, a library this deep is the main argument for an offshore site at all.
Live casino and tables
150+ live tables and 100+ RNG table games put Lex comfortably ahead of most local operators, where 60 to 140 live tables is the usual range. That breadth matters most for blackjack and roulette players who want a choice of limits and formats rather than one table that is always full.
Crypto games
The 50+ crypto games are the fast, stripped-back formats that crypto casinos like to promote. They are a sideshow rather than a reason to sign up, but they suit players funding the account in crypto anyway.
Esports and virtuals instead of a sportsbook
Lex offers esports and virtual betting, but not a full sportsbook. In practice that means you can bet on competitive gaming and on simulated events, but if you are looking for the Virslīga, the NHL or the Champions League, this is the wrong address.
I see that as a feature rather than a gap. The site is not cluttered with a betting menu most casino players never open, and the esports section adds a little variety for those who want it. If you do want football and basketball on the same balance, Drip's 40-plus-sport book is the sister site to look at instead.
Getting money in and out
Payments run through cards, e-wallets and crypto. Trustly and Latvian bank links are not available here; that route is reserved for licensed operators. The minimum deposit is €20, twice the €10 that is standard at most local casinos.
Lex states withdrawals are processed in under 24 hours. That is solid by offshore standards, though not a match for licensed sites quoting Trustly payouts in a few hours. Verification comes first: expect to provide ID and proof of address before the first payout, and do it early so it does not hold up your money. Our guide to fast casino withdrawals shows where Lex sits against the quickest payers.
Phones, Optibet and who Lex really suits
Lex does not advertise a native app the way Monro and Drip do, so mobile play means the browser version. With the address changing between mirror domains, you will occasionally need to find the current one rather than tapping a saved icon.
The natural licensed comparison is Optibet, Latvia's long-running all-rounder. Optibet offers €300 at 35x with 100 free spins, Trustly payouts quoted at under 6 hours, iOS apps and its own branded live tables, all under VID supervision. Lex counters with a bigger lobby, crypto and 400 spins, but at 45x and without local protection.
- Lex suits slot and live-casino players who pay in crypto and have no interest in sports betting.
- It does not suit anyone who wants an app, Trustly or a Latvian regulator behind them.
Pros
- Focused casino with 5,000+ slots
- 150+ live tables and 100+ table games
- Esports and virtual betting for variety
- Crypto payments and 50+ crypto games
- 400 free spins in the welcome offer
Cons
- 45x wagering: €27,000 on the full bonus
- No traditional sportsbook
- No Latvian licence; mirror domains
- No native app advertised
My verdict
Of Galaktika's four casinos, Lex is the one I would recommend first to a pure casino player. It shares its sisters' big lobby and big bonus, but by leaving out the sportsbook it ends up as the most coherent product of the group. The 150+ live tables and 5,000+ slots are the substance; the esports corner is a pleasant extra.
The same caveats apply as across the family: 45x wagering turns the €600 into €27,000 of play, the €20 minimum is high, and the Curaçao licence leaves you without a Latvian regulator. If those trade-offs are acceptable, Lex is the best of the four. If they are not, a licensed site such as Optibet is the better home.
Lex Casino: 8.6 out of 10
