Spēlēt Review 2026: a 150% Bonus and Esports from a Young Riga Brand
Spēlēt only went online in 2020, yet it already stands level with far older names in my scores. The 150% match is the most generous percentage among Latvian licensees and the esports betting is a real point of difference; the 40x wagering and 24-hour payouts are what hold it back.

SIA NIKS and a brand that started in 2020
Spēlēt, found at spelet.lv, is run by SIA NIKS, a Riga company that trades as the Spelet Group. The online brand launched in 2020, which makes it one of the youngest names on the Latvian licensed list, next to operators that date back to the 1990s or the early 2000s.
SIA NIKS holds Latvian licences A-60 and TI-20. In everyday speech this is an IAUI licence — since April 2026 supervised by VID, which merged the inspectorate into itself and now issues licences, keeps the official list of licensed operators, the self-exclusion register and the blocked-domain list. Spēlēt pays out under Latvian rules, and a dispute would be handled by a Latvian authority rather than an offshore regulator.
A young brand naturally invites the question of whether it can be trusted. For me the licence answers that: the bar for a Latvian licence is the same whether a company is five years old or thirty. For a deeper dive into the operator, see the full Spēlēt review on latvijas-kazino.eu.
150% up to €200: generous match, heavy turnover
The welcome bonus is a 150% match up to €200 plus 50 free spins, with a minimum deposit of €10. Most Latvian licensees match 100%, so the percentage stands out immediately. The wagering requirement is 40x.
Here is how it works out. Because the match is 150%, you only need to deposit about €133 to reach the full €200 bonus. Wagering 40 × €200 then gives €8,000 of turnover. A €50 deposit brings a €75 bonus and €3,000 to wager; a €10 deposit brings €15 and €600. The terms specify whether the requirement applies to the bonus only or to deposit plus bonus, so check that line before you accept.
Is it good value? The percentage is excellent for small and medium deposits, where you get more bonus per euro than anywhere else on the licensed market. The multiplier is the downside: Betsafe's €200 welcome offer asks only 30x, or €6,000, for the same bonus amount. If you are unsure how to weigh a high match against a high multiplier, our casino bonus guide walks through it. Also check the max bet rule and game contributions in the terms.
Inside the casino lobby
Spēlēt lists 1,500+ slots, 50+ table games, 70+ live casino tables and 25+ jackpot games. The slot count is on a par with most licensed Latvian brands; the table, live and jackpot sections are a little smaller than average.
Seventy live tables still cover the essentials — roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows — but if live dealers are what you play most, OlyBet's 80+ or Optibet's 140+ give more variety. Likewise, players chasing progressive jackpots will find a wider choice at Optibet or Tonybet. For a slot player, though, 1,500+ titles are more than anyone will work through.
I do not see the smaller side sections as a deal-breaker. A brand that has been online since 2020 has had less time to build out every corner of its lobby than operators with two decades of history, and the core — slots plus a reasonable live floor — is in place. What I would like to see next is a deeper jackpot selection, because 25+ is the lowest figure among the licensed brands we cover.
Live betting and esports: Spēlēt's real angle
Where Spēlēt sets itself apart is the sportsbook. Next to standard pre-match betting it offers live betting and, notably, esports markets. Esports is still an afterthought at many Latvian operators, so a younger audience that follows competitive gaming as closely as football has a natural home here.
The casino and the sportsbook sit on the same site, so switching from a live match to a slot does not require a second account. For me this combination is the most convincing reason to pick Spēlēt over a casino-only brand: it suits players who split their time between betting and spinning rather than doing only one.
Withdrawals within 24 hours
Deposits start at €10 and the payment options follow the Latvian standard: Trustly, bank link payments with Swedbank, SEB, Citadele and Luminor, Visa and Mastercard, and e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller. Our page on casino payment methods in Latvia explains the differences between them.
Spēlēt states withdrawals within 24 hours. That is fine for a licensed casino, but it trails the quickest operators — X3000 quotes under four hours, Tonybet and Optibet under six. If speed matters most, this is a point against.
Identity verification is required by Latvian law before payouts. My advice is to upload your documents straight after registering, so the first withdrawal is not delayed by a verification request.
No app, so the browser does the work
There is no Spēlēt iOS app to be found, so mobile users play in the browser. The mobile site carries the casino, the live tables and the sportsbook, including live betting, and Trustly or bank link payments simply hand you over to your banking app.
For live betting in particular, a dedicated app would be welcome — following odds in real time is where native apps shine. Until one appears, a home-screen bookmark is the practical workaround.
Klondaika and Laimz are in the same position without an iOS app, so Spēlēt is not alone here. Brands that do offer one — Tonybet, X3000, OlyBet — have a clear edge for anyone who bets in play from the sofa or the stands.
Where Spēlēt fits among Klondaika, Tonybet and OlyBet
Spēlēt scores 8.8 from us, the same as Klondaika, the veteran hall brand. Both ask 40x, but Klondaika pays out faster (within 12 hours) and has a bigger slot library, while Spēlēt offers the higher match percentage and esports betting.
For sports-minded players, Tonybet's sportsbook and casino is the stronger all-rounder: €500 at 35x, an iOS app and payouts within six hours. OlyBet, with €350 at 35x and payouts within eight hours, is another obvious alternative. Spēlēt's case rests on its 150% match for smaller deposits and its esports markets.
Pros
- 150% match, the highest percentage on the licensed market
- Live betting and esports markets
- Latvian licence A-60 / TI-20
- Full €200 bonus from a deposit of about €133
- 1,500+ slots
Cons
- 40x wagering on the bonus
- Withdrawals stated within 24 hours
- No iOS app
- Smaller live and jackpot sections
My verdict
I rate Spēlēt 8.8/10. For a brand that only arrived in 2020, it has built a convincing package: a proper Latvian licence, 1,500+ slots, a sportsbook with live betting and esports, and the most generous match percentage among local licensees. For players who split their time between bets and slots, it ticks more boxes than most.
The 40x requirement takes some of the shine off the 150% match, and 24-hour payouts plus the lack of an app keep it below the market leaders. My conclusion: pick Spēlēt if esports and live betting matter to you and you deposit modest amounts; if you play casino only and want the fastest payouts, look elsewhere.
Spēlēt: 8.8 out of 10
