Foreign online casinos for Latvian players: Monro, Lex, Drip and 1GO
Four foreign casinos keep coming up when Latvian players look beyond the licensed market: Monro, Lex, Drip and 1GO. They share an owner, a bonus formula and a crypto-first approach, but they are not identical. Here is what they offer, what the numbers really mean and how they stack up against the Latvian sites.

Who runs them
All four sites belong to the same company, Galaktika N.V., registered in Curaçao. Monro and Drip launched in 2023, Lex and 1GO in 2024, so they are young brands built on a shared platform rather than four independent casinos. That explains why their welcome offers, minimum deposits and game libraries look almost identical, and why the differences sit in the details: sportsbook, apps and loyalty schemes.
For the player, the shared ownership has two consequences. First, comparing the four is less about who is generous and more about which extras you value. Second, an account at one is separate from an account at another: each site runs its own registration, verification and loyalty progress, even though the cashier and the bonus terms look familiar from one to the next. I would therefore pick one of them deliberately, rather than spread deposits across all four.
They hold a Curaçao licence and target an international audience, with Latvia as one of many markets. If you are looking for brands that have only recently appeared in front of Latvian players, latvijas-kazino.eu also keeps a list of newly launched casinos for Latvia.
What draws players to them
The appeal is easy to see, and I would rather state it plainly than pretend it does not exist.
- Bigger bonuses. 150% up to €600, with 400 free spins at Monro, Lex and 1GO and 325 at Drip. The largest licensed offer, at X3000 and Tonybet, is €500.
- Huge game lobbies. 5,000+ slots, 100+ table games and 150+ live tables at each site, against 2,800+ slots at Optibet, the largest licensed library.
- Crypto. Deposits and withdrawals in cryptocurrency, plus 50+ dedicated crypto games, which no Latvian-licensed site offers.
- Loyalty tiers. Monro and Drip run named status levels with rewards attached.
The live casino side deserves a word too. With 150+ live tables, each of the four has more than any licensed site; Optibet, the strongest licensed live offer, lists 140+. For players who move between blackjack, roulette and game shows, that depth is a real argument.
For a player who mainly wants volume, of games, spins and bonus money, that is a strong pitch. The question is what it costs, and that starts with the wagering.
The 45x maths
All four sites apply 45x wagering, the highest requirement on this site. I apply it to the bonus amount; the terms specify whether it covers the bonus only or deposit plus bonus, so check which applies.
- To receive the full €600 bonus you need to deposit €400, because the match is 150%.
- €600 at 45x means €27,000 of bets before the bonus becomes withdrawable.
- Per €100 of bonus, that is €4,500 of turnover.
Now compare. X3000's €500 at 35x needs €17,500, which is €3,500 per €100. Laimz's €400 at 30x needs €12,000, or €3,000 per €100. Put differently, every €100 of foreign bonus needs half as much play again as the same €100 at Laimz. The foreign bonus is larger, but each euro of it is harder to release, and the €20 minimum deposit is double the usual licensed €10. My casino bonus guide shows all 16 offers on the same scale.
The legal position in Latvia
None of the four has a Latvian licence. VID, the State Revenue Service, which has supervised gambling since the IAUI was merged into it in April 2026, lists Galaktika N.V. among the companies Latvian banks and payment institutions may not serve, and includes the casinos' domains in its blocked-domain list; that is why the sites operate through changing mirror addresses. In a payout dispute there is no Latvian regulator to turn to. The full background is in my Latvian casino licence guide, and an independent overview is on the foreign casinos page of latvijas-kazino.eu.
The four side by side
Same owner, same bonus formula, different extras. This is where they diverge.
| Casino | Launched | Free spins | Betting | Apps | My score |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lex | 2024 | 400 | Esports and virtual only | Not stated | 8.6 |
| Drip | 2023 | 325 | Sportsbook, 40+ sports | iOS and Android | 8.4 |
| Monro | 2023 | 400 | Full sportsbook | iOS and Android | 8.2 |
| 1GO | 2024 | 400 | Full sportsbook | Android only | 8.2 |
All four share the €600 cap, 45x wagering, a €20 minimum deposit, payouts within 24 hours, 5,000+ slots and crypto payments.
Payments and payouts at the foreign sites
Because Trustly and Latvian bank links are not available there, the cashier at each of the four looks different from what Latvian players are used to. Deposits go through Visa and Mastercard, international e-wallets or cryptocurrency, and withdrawals follow the same routes.
The stated payout time is within 24 hours at all four. That is in line with the slower licensed sites such as Joker.lv, Fenikss and Spēlēt, but well behind X3000 or Optibet. Crypto is usually the quickest route out once a withdrawal has been approved, since it does not depend on banking hours.
As at any casino, expect identity checks before the first withdrawal: an ID document, proof of address and proof that the payment method is yours. Uploading these straight after registration is the simplest way to stop the first payout from stalling. It is also worth reading the bonus terms with extra care at these sites, in particular the max bet rule while the 45x requirement is running and which games count towards it, because with €27,000 of turnover at stake a single breach costs far more than at a 30x site.
How the four differ
Lex: the pure casino
Lex has no full sportsbook, only esports and virtual betting, and that focus is why I rate it highest of the four. If you came for slots and live tables, nothing on the site is pulling you towards something else. The details are in my Lex Casino review.
Drip: the sports option with fewer spins
Drip has the strongest betting offer, 40+ sports, plus apps for iOS and Android and a four-step status ladder, ORIGIN, SMART, PRIME and META. It gives 325 free spins instead of 400, which I do not consider a serious drawback. My verdict is in the Drip Casino review.
Monro: the loyalty scheme
Monro combines the full package with a sportsbook, iOS and Android apps and loyalty levels named PRESTIGE, ELITE and SUPREME. It is the most complete of the four on paper, but it does nothing better than its siblings, as I explain in the Monro Casino review.
1GO: the youngest and leanest
1GO matches Monro on bonus and sportsbook but offers only an Android app, which counts against it for iPhone users. Everything else is in the 1GO Casino review.
How they compare with Latvian-licensed sites
When I put the best of the foreign group next to the best licensed sites, the picture is clear.
- Bonus value: licensed sites win. Laimz and Betsafe at 30x need a third less turnover per euro than 45x.
- Payout speed: licensed sites win. X3000 states under 4 hours via Trustly, the foreign sites within 24 hours.
- Payments: it depends. Licensed sites have Trustly and Latvian bank links; foreign sites have crypto, cards and e-wallets.
- Game choice: foreign sites win, 5,000+ slots against a licensed maximum of 2,800+ at Optibet.
- Bonus size: foreign sites win on paper, €600 against €500.
- Local supervision: licensed sites win, as they answer to VID.
- Sports betting: roughly level. Drip's 40+ sports is a serious sportsbook, but Optibet, Tonybet and LVBet are betting brands first and add local markets such as the TonyBet Virslīga.
That is why even Lex, the best of the four at 8.6, sits below most of the licensed field in my ranking, while X3000 leads at 9.6. The X3000 casino review and the Laimz review are the two I would read alongside this guide.
Who the foreign sites suit
In my view the four Galaktika casinos make sense for a fairly specific player: someone who already uses crypto, wants the widest possible slot choice, plays enough volume that 45x does not feel out of reach, and has weighed the licence position. For that player, Lex is my first pick, and Drip is the choice if sports betting matters.
If you do pick one, a few habits make sense. Decide before depositing whether you want the bonus at all, because 45x on €600 is a long road and playing without it leaves your balance free to withdraw. Deposit €400 only if you actually intend to work through the full turnover; a smaller deposit gives a proportionally smaller bonus with the same multiplier. Keep the current address of the site bookmarked from the operator's own communication rather than from search results. And keep your crypto or e-wallet records, since they are your only paper trail for what went in and came out.
For almost everyone else, especially players who care about quick bank payouts or a bonus they can realistically clear, a Latvian-licensed site is the better fit. My best casinos in Latvia ranking shows where each of the sixteen lands.
Frequently asked questions
Who owns Monro, Lex, Drip and 1GO?
All four are run by Galaktika N.V., a company registered in Curaçao. Monro and Drip launched in 2023, Lex and 1GO in 2024.
Do the foreign casinos accept crypto?
Yes. All four accept cryptocurrency for deposits and withdrawals and offer 50+ crypto games alongside 5,000+ slots.
How much do I need to bet to clear the €600 bonus?
At 45x, €27,000 of bets, assuming the requirement applies to the bonus amount. The full bonus needs a €400 deposit because the match is 150%.

Lex, with 8.6 in my ranking, because it focuses fully on the casino. Drip at 8.4 is the better choice if you also want a sportsbook.

No. Payments at Monro, Lex, Drip and 1GO go through cards, e-wallets and crypto instead.
How fast do the foreign casinos pay out?
All four state payouts within 24 hours. Licensed sites such as X3000 (under 4 hours) and Optibet (under 6 hours) are quicker via Trustly.
